Popular Science Festival "Science Museum in the XXI century" in Nizhny Novgorod
Festival events will be held at three venues in the city: the Volga branch of the National Center for Contemporary Art (Arsenal, Kremlin, building 6), at the Museum "Nizhny Novgorod Radio" (Verkhnevolzhskaya nab., 5) and in UNN. NI Lobachevsky.
The festival consists of scientific – popular exhibitions and parallel program.
In Arsenal during the month will feature interactive exhibits for children from Trinity Museum of Science "Physical Kunstcamera" personal project Eugenia Strelkova about the history of science "Suitcases Joseph Hamel" and science – art exhibition of works collected by the leading Russian artists of this trend by Dmitry Bulatov and Alexey Chebykin (Kaliningrad), the group "Where dogs run" (Ekaterinburg), Dmitry Morozov VTOL (Moscow).
The second venue of the festival will be the museum "Nizhny Novgorod Radio." Visitors will see not only the historical collection of the museum, which tells about the development of broadcasting in the Soviet Union, but a new exhibition dedicated to the use of radio technologies in modern medicine, scientific studies of the brain.
What unites these different exposures except that they relate to science? They are united by the fact that they were created by scientists, artists and museum staff who have received support in the framework of "Science Museum in the 21st Century" by the Foundation "Dynasty" sells for 8 years. Over the years the programs were created dozens of various exhibits, beautiful, interesting, informative, which can and should be touched by hands.
Some of them can be seen within the festival in Nizhny Novgorod. Authors who created exhibits, sought not only to scientific accuracy, but also to ensure that the exhibits were really modern, impressive and interesting to different audiences: children and their parents, young people and adults.
An integral part of the exhibition – the program of lectures for adults and open lessons, excursions, interactive sessions and scientific shows for school pupils who the winners, the authors projects from different Russian cities, as well as specially invited scientists and popularizers of science in a fascinating way to tell about the biology, physics , chemistry, modern equipment, technologies and high-tech art.
The cost of tickets to the exhibition: Full – 100 rubles., Reduced – 50 rubles.
Every Wednesday the entrance to the exhibition is free.
